The Bat'leth has several degrees of membership, each one is intended to suit the needs of the membership. The different types of memberships are Active, Associate, Family, and Honorary. The Active membership is for the member who intends to be very active in club activities and help steer the club along its future. The associate membership is for club members who don't want to be quite as active or are under the age of 16. This membership has most of the same entitlements as the active membership, but without the authoritive responsibilities. Family memberships are for families who are considering joining the Bat'leth as a whole. This membership is set up to make it easier for families to enjoy being members of the Bat'Leth's crew.

1. Anyone over the age of sixteen may join the Bat'leth with an Active membership. The membership costs $18 a year, and provides the fullest level of participation possible. Active members can vote, hold office, sit on special committees, request inspection of club documents and records, call for disciplinary hearings, attend all club functions and receive club notices. The General Membership is comprised of Active Members.

2. Anyone under the age of sixteen, or who does not want the full entitlements of an active membership may join the Bat'leth with an Associate membership. Associate memberships only cost $12 a year and still allow members a high degree of participation.  Associate members can attend all club functions, receive club notices, and serve on committees.  Associate members can not attend disciplinary hearings or hold an office.

3. A Family membership costs $31 and is a single Active membership that covers members of a family that want to join the Bat'leth. A family is considered to be two legal guardians and their children.  When the children reach legal age, or 16 years old, they have the option for selecting for themselves either an Active or an Associate membership.

4. The Honorary Membership is a special membership to acknowledge individuals that have contributed to the operation of the Bat'leth.  The Honorary Membership is bestowed by a majority vote of the General Membership.  This is a special dues exempt membership equal to an Associate Membership.
